And I was about to get my parents to pay $650 for their Platinum product.The most you should do which will prevent aging is proper skincare. cleanse, tone, moisturize, and protect.

No way! When they say 'earlier the better' with that stuff, they're talking like 30, not 14. Use oil-free moisturizers and, if your skin gets oily at all, use acne wash or some other kind of acne prevention. Trust me, you won't be getting wrinkles for another decade or two at LEAST.

No way! When they say 'earlier the better' with that stuff, they're talking like 30, not 14. Use oil-free moisturizers and, if your skin gets oily at all, use acne wash or some other kind of acne prevention. Trust me, you won't be getting wrinkles for another decade or two at LEAST.

I receive regular samples and its cheaper for me to use what im given instead of buying new stuff all the time. I have been sent some Estee Lauder re-nutriv ultimate lifting cream and eye cream, I have started using it and its nice stuff, but will this negate me using it when i am actually old? Also will it have any adverse effects on my skin ( on the surface it has not so far)?Is there a problem with a 23 yr old using anti-aging skin cream?
It won't negate the effect as your skin continues to renew every 30 days anyway so the skin you have when you're older will bear no resemblance to what you have now, you cannot reverse the ageing process you can only improve skin texture and hydration levels (preventing the forming of deep lines and sagging but not entirely). The only thing is you don't necessarily NEED such a rich formula, there are ingredients in anti-ageing creams which are not necessary for your skin as it will still have a very good elasticity level. You'll be effectively trying to replace something which has not yet ceased to be produced. Take it down a notch and use something preventative and designed for your age bracket. I just received my 2-week trial yesterday and tried it last night. I was surprised to see the main ingredient was 100% Chilean Snail Extract but I tried it anyway. It seems to be a nice cream, unscented, nice consistency, and was absorbed quickly. The packaging states that due to it's exfoliating properties you may want to use a moisturiser in addition because it can dry the skin, and I used one on top of it. I'll let you know what I think after a week. Hope this is helpful.

I use MD Forte. It has glycolic acid which is what you want. It is a wonderful product and has really helped with the fine lines. I also use the facial cleanser and it helps shrink large pores. It is available at dermatologists offices.

Alpha Hydroxy is a non-toxic derivative from sugar cane and is known for its exfoliating (removes dead skin cells) and rejuvenating effects. It tightens and firms skin, and I have been using it for over a year. I am mid(ahem) forties and do not have any wrinkles! I also wear sunscreen, and makeup with sunscreen added to make sure I don't get sunburned on my face.

Shesheido is pretty pricey, (Nordstroms) but their moisturizer, under eye moisturizer and ';firmer'; are wonderful.
Oil of Olay has some great products as does L'Oreal-- both in drug stores.
Of course, water and sleep help immensely, too.

I started developing pretty bad facial wrinkles after I crossed 35. I was pretty upset about it as I really didn't whink my skin would start degrading in my 30s. I tried altering my diet, took a lot of dark coloured vegetables such as beetroot and tomatoes as these were supposed to be good for wrinkles and also drank plenty of water. It didn't really work though and my Doctor had even suggested that I go for a Debrassion treatment to fade out my wrinkles. I then recently read an article by a lady who claimed that she got rid of her wrinkles using a particular anti-wrinkle product. I tried it and it worked really well. I used them when I was in my 20's, and now I am 46, and have comments all the time from people telling me they swore I was around 30. Don't listen to sis... she's ill-informed.
Look up scientific sites and do your own resarch, really, for the most important information.

Remember though that these products will do very little if you don't take care of your skin from the inside as well - drink plenty of water, get good nutrition and take multi-vitamins if you need to, get plenty of sleep, and stay away from habits that are well known for accelerating the aging process such as smoking and tanning beds. Personally, the products I've found to work best for my skin (which is still a little acne prone) are Mary Kay's Timewise 3-in1 cleanser/moisturizer/foundation and Neutragena's Healthy Skin lotions (which I put on after the Mary Kay Timewise moisturizer). I also use a micro-dermabrasion kit once a week. No lines yet, and my skin stays clear of breakouts. :)

I use Clinique skincare. I also have sensitive skin so some of the moisturizers I cant use because they are to heavy for me. Clinique has several products including Turnaround Cream, Stop Stgns and All About Eyes that I absolutely love. My mom who is soon to be 64 and has used the products since the beginning of time..well their time anyway, is often mistaken for my sister and my YOUNGER sister at that. So it did not take to many of those comments until I was at the Clinique counter myself! As for a sample you can go to any Clinique counter and talk with a technician and she will tell you what you need and give you some to let you try it. They also will do your makeup for you as well!
i heard that caracol cream (i'm not sure on the exact spelling) is a wonderful product that sells for a good price (around the 70 dollar range). it was, a few weeks ago, offering a free sample. so i would look it up on the internet and try and get a free sample if they're still available.

Can an anti-aging cream really make you 'look younger'?
Some of the things they're coming out with (and the prices they charge for them) are pretty outrageous. If it's simply about moisturizing, can one just use an inexpensive moisturizer? When products claim to 'reduce the look of fine lines', it isn't quantified, so I wonder if it's a minimal effect, or simply a cosmetic effect?

Help finding the perfect anti-aging cream for 24yr old?
I know 24 may seem a little young, but I know prevention is the best method, and I want to post pone those wrinkles as long as I can!
I am not big on skincare (I have used dove my whole life and had pretty good results from it) so I don't know where to begin when looking for a good anti-aging or wrinkle prevention cream. What are some good brands? What type of ingredients should I look for? Any key words? or any other advice you may have to offer in this category.

Can anyone recommend a really good anti-aging cream?
I am getting on in life, and have always used Olay cream ever since it was called Oil of Ulay, and i have finished it and the only Olay cream they have in my country is a fake one which is terrible. Can anyone give me a good anti-aging cream that i can use. I have combination skin, but mostly dry and like to feel that its a little greasy but not too much. At the moment i am using sun cream lol. Any advice would be great.Can anyone recommend a really good anti-aging cream?

from what iv read, and from my experiences, your diet can play a huge role in ageing, iv heard that honey and goji berries (another name can be wolf berries) can help slow down or even reverse the ageing effect, another thing that can greatly effect the way you look is smoking and drugs, if you're into any of that then not even the most advanced cream can help you, iv heard of a person who lived up to 270 years from eating a handful of goji berries everyday, which in my opinion is pretty crazy and shows how powerful some fruits can be, anyways i hope this helped? lol
