Apply moisturiser regularly. Dry skin tends to lose elasticity earlier than oily skin, so applying moisturiser helps combat wrinkles, as it keeps the skin supple. It helps to keep in mind that air-conditioners and room heaters tend to dry out the air, and consequently, your skin. Apply a heavier moisturiser if you are going to be sleeping in an air-conditioned room. If possible, place a humidifier in the bedroom.?

2. Avoid resting your face on your arm. This stretches your skin.?

3. While removing eye make-up, be very gentle. The eyes are the first areas of the face to develop wrinkles. Under no circumstances should you stretch or pull the delicate under-eye skin.?

4. The ageing effects of the sun are as severe as time itself. Make sure you stay out of the sun between 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., when the sun is at its strongest. If you must step out in the sun, wear a cap or carry an umbrella. Apply sunscreen lotion even if you are indoors, during the day.?

5. Wear sunglasses if you step out in the sun. Not only do they look great, but they also prevent you from involuntarily crinkling your eyes due to the glare of the sun. This action causes premature wrinkling, and should be avoided.?

6. Inverted yoga postures like Chakrasana, Sirshasana, Sarvangasana, Adhomukha Svanasana, increase circulation to the face. Oxygen is pumped into the face, which helps rejuvenate skin. Inverted poses are of tremendous benefit, and also help delay the onset of grey hair. Your skin will look healthier and firmer.?

7. Apply nourishing face masks regularly to your skin. You could purchase them, or use ingredients from your kitchen shelf. Egg yolk is extremely beneficial, so if possible, apply it at least once a week. Leave on for ten minutes and wash off. Honey, olive oil, malai (at least a day old), unboiled milk, are all excellent for skin as well. Apply a nourishing mask twice a week. Years down the line, when your contemporaries faces are lined with wrinkles, you will be glad you did.?

8. Don?t smoke. By smoking, you are increasing the levels of toxins in your body. In addition, the constant puckering of lips around the cigarette, to draw smoke, causes lines around the mouth. Similarly, consume less alcohol. Alcohol, if had in excess, causes puffiness the next morning. This puffiness causes the skin to stretch, and consequently quickens the onset of wrinkles.?

9. Anti-ageing creams do help, though they are not the miracle workers they claim to be.

10. Chickpeas (channas) and soya beans have been found to contain ingredients that combat wrinkles.What is the best anti-aging/wrinkle cream out there at an inexpensive price?
Best is Le Mer (maybe it is La Mer), but it costs an arm and a leg.

i buy the small travel sizes and little packets on ebay.What is the best anti-aging/wrinkle cream out there at an inexpensive price?
Shoot! Help Please =]I'm 14, should I start using an Anti Aging/wrinkle cream or serum?
I went to sephora and they all told me not to use anti-aging and Im 18. It can disrupt your skin and disrupt the production of natural oils which keep you from aging anyways. So it will actually be worse for you. And believe me....I've tried asking at many different sephoras and they all told me the same thing. sad :(((( I really wanted Perricone. I even tried going to La Prairie, which is a high-end brand used by the Ritz Carlton spa in NYC and they said they would feel guilty for letting me buy their products. They said it would do worse for my skin since anti-aging products are for older people whose skin has already stopped producing those natural oils. And I was about to get my parents to pay $650 for their Platinum product.The most you should do which will prevent aging is proper skincare. cleanse, tone, moisturize, and protect.

My very expensive skincare regimen LOL:

a good cleanser

I use my Clarisonic brush with my Ole Henriksen Aloe Vera cleanser)

Ole Henriksen Aloe Vera Cleanser

http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>

Clarisonic Brush %26lt;------- LOVE!!!!!! I've been using sunscreen for years lol. Thtas why.I'm 14, should I start using an Anti Aging/wrinkle cream or serum?
DO NOT START when you see wrinkles whoever answered that is moronic... you are in the preventative years... but you shouldn't use a wrinkle cream or anti-aging, but do use a moisturizer with spf in it already or buy an spf cream for your face. Using these products while you are this young will decrease your chances of getting them when your older, now grant it, your bound to get them, but daily face care is the best way at your current age. I also would recommend Aveeno Positively Radiant cream face wash. Now i've never tried using this but I read in a magazine that using fresh lemons with not only help with wrinkle prevention but it will also get rid of freckles if you have any. Hope this helps.
im a licensed esthetician(skin care specialist) and i would say its too early to start at the age of 14. you should start preventive aging care when your in your early twenties. However from now all you can do to protect your skin and prevent it from aging is use sunscreen. sun exposure is the number one cause of premature aging. And cleanse your face twice a day then follow with a moisturizer with a minimum of spf 15 to protect your skin and keep it moistrized.
Anti wrinkle creams are now available for use by those people who wish to eliminate these lines under the eyes and wrinkles on the forehead. But as there is a flurry of products it is a Herculean task to select the best one. So we have to do a fair bit of research before going for a product. According to Dr.Oz, The best anti aging products are the ones which have the natural extracts of red wine, Matrixyl 3000 and other essential fatty acids to boost the skin tightening.

Completely Natural:

According to a recent research conducted by a leading dermatological company, Dermitageis the best anti aging cream till date. The reason being the effects it has on the skin at the first instance itself. You can feel the aura of the cream and its action almost instantly. But you may have to wait for two to three weeks for the miracle to happen.

Wrinkle Cream must have Natural Contents Like:

* The extracts of the red wine like Resveratrol

* Collagen extracts

* Matrixyl 3000

* Natural Cream base

Best Wrinkle Cream Comes With Following Advantages:

* Clears Darkening Under the Eyes

* Stimulates Renewal of Skin Cells

* Rejuvenate the aging skin

* Restore the youthful radiance

Actually selecting right product is most difficult thing. But I saw Dr.OZ on Oprah's Show suggesting Dermitage (For Removing Wrinkles) and Resveratrol Supplement (For Controlling Aging Process). I did lot of research to find to right Source for both Products. While doing my research on net, I found that few Companies offering Free Trail as they are very confident about results.
Never to early to start! (: Im 14 also, and my dad actually works at a anti aging skin care company and I use the products every day. And the doctor that works at the compant recomends me to use her products! so sure! You can use them! :D
No way! When they say 'earlier the better' with that stuff, they're talking like 30, not 14. Use oil-free moisturizers and, if your skin gets oily at all, use acne wash or some other kind of acne prevention. Trust me, you won't be getting wrinkles for another decade or two at LEAST.
I don't think you should start yet. You're only 14. I have been sent some Estee Lauder re-nutriv ultimate lifting cream and eye cream, I have started using it and its nice stuff, but will this negate me using it when i am actually old? Also will it have any adverse effects on my skin ( on the surface it has not so far)?Is there a problem with a 23 yr old using anti-aging skin cream?
It won't negate the effect as your skin continues to renew every 30 days anyway so the skin you have when you're older will bear no resemblance to what you have now, you cannot reverse the ageing process you can only improve skin texture and hydration levels (preventing the forming of deep lines and sagging but not entirely). The only thing is you don't necessarily NEED such a rich formula, there are ingredients in anti-ageing creams which are not necessary for your skin as it will still have a very good elasticity level. You'll be effectively trying to replace something which has not yet ceased to be produced. Take it down a notch and use something preventative and designed for your age bracket. It won't do you any harm but the formula will be a little rich.Is there a problem with a 23 yr old using anti-aging skin cream?
It won't have any adverse effects so don't worry about that. In general, there is not that much difference between regular moisturisers and anti aging ones. It's certainly better to get stuff for free! Estee lauder is a good brand and is good for sensitive skin so unless your skin has had a bad reaction, keep on using it. Beauticians recommend you start using an anti aging cream from 25 yrs onwards so you are just starting a bit early thats all!
no its fine any moisturiser is better than none at all. no mousturiser is ';anti aging'; it just helps the skin lock in moisture helping the skin to plump and therefore look younger. normal moisturisers do the same but tend not to be as thick or greasy or contain things such as collagen which is designed for the older skin.

you need to start a good face care rountine in your teens to get the best results through out your life but starting at any age is better than not at all. make sure you wear sun screen too (a small covering even when the sun isnt out is recomended as it still stops the uva and uvb rays) as this will help to prevent anti aging
I have been using oil olay wrinkle cream since I was about 16years old.

Only effect, most people think i am like 24 or 25 years old when actually, I am 34 years old. I get carded for everything, thats annoying but hey, I look young.

so bottom line is, I think it would be harder to get rid of wrinkles when you get rather than prevent them from even appearing in the first place.

I do get pimples from the creams sometimes, but a pimple goes away, a wrinkle lasts a lifetime.
There is no data to suggest that you shouldn't use anti-aging products long term. They work by speeding up the rate at which your body produces new layers of skin and sloughs off the old, which studys show, has no ill effects. The only thing you're going to negate is the need for anti-again creams when you're old.
I don't see why it would have any ill effects on your skin, if anything I think you are doing well to start before you have any wrinkles. Just try not to sit in the sun too long because it will make you squint and will age your skin, you would be better off using one of the fake tanning creams instead which will moisturise at the same time.
No, there is no problem with taking care of your skin at any age. If the stuff you are using is of quality ingredients is shouldn't do anything negative to your skin. It is basically just giving moisture and structure.

Of course the best way to care for your skin is a lot of water and SUNSCREEN!
do you have any wrinkles now? I think you are too young to be using that kind of stuff now. I don't think using it now will stop you from having wrinkles if the future. It should not have any adverse effect if you still want to use it.
Forget the hype. It's a moisturiser with a bit of pigment in it. If it's free and it doesn't upset you, use it. Just don't buy it. Superdrug body lotion contains the same stuff and it comes in half-pint bottles for less.
no, it is actually better for your skin. Put on sunscreen daily, because it might have a good tan now, but when you get old it will sag.
No problem at all because it does'nt work, just smells nice you'll just grow old like the billions of people before you, better to channel your efforts into helping others instead of thinking of yourself...
Provided the product is safe, there is no reason why you shouldn't as it could pay dividends later in life when you look ten years younger than your age.
well I'm 20 soon and i get regular microdermabration and i use lancome primoradle nuit skin recharge and yes when i time comes i will get a face lift and/ or a chemical peel
The earlier you start with anti-aging creams the better! My mum has a friend who started using them at 25, and she's now in her 40's and has fewer wrinkles than most.
Anti aging creams can be a bit harsh for young skin. Suncream or moisturiser is enough for your age and also a good cleansing and toning regime.
Why would it hurt? I don't see a problem with you using them! Besides, prevention is the best medicine. Don't wait til your skin is sagging to use anti-aging creams! :)
yes i am sure you do not need extra moisturising at your age.

yo will have enough oils in your skin yet. So save your money

and go for an ordinary moituriser it will be cheaper too.
There is nothing wrong with using creams at your age. Keep using the creams, and you will preserve your young skin...
CONSUMERISM IS AT WORK. U WILL DENY IT BEORE CONSIDERING IF IT IS
From what I have heard it is best to start using it young.
Of course not, I started when I was 12 =] no worries
if it's not broke, don't fix it
Yea........ you are wasting your money
well ur not exactly aging yet soo i wouldnt use it yetsamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11888621615098436029noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8826736979813619845.post-63875838418887811472009-12-22T00:50:00.000-08:002009-12-22T00:50:15.743-08:00Anti aging face cream that i can try before i buy?Looking for a natural anti aging face cream that is not harsh on the skin.I have sensitive skin and it is hard to find anti aging face creams without all of the chemicals.I have had some success with oil of olay and ponds but after a while they had a negative effect on my skin. AND now it looks like i have wrinkles!

what can i do?Skin irritation under eye due to anti aging cream?
Many of those products contain a lot of chemicals that can irritate the eyes. I like the Camu C serum from Lluvia which does not contain any chemicals and is nourishing to the skin.

I've never had many good things to say about cosmetics and skin care products, because if you want to be honest about it, probably 98 percent of the skin care products on the market are complete garbage. They do nothing whatsoever to beautify your skin, and, in fact, most of them actually harm your health, because they contain artificial fragrances composed of cancer-causing chemicals. When you put this stuff on your skin, it gets absorbed into your bloodstream and causes liver damage, or even DNA damage. It is a direct promoter of cancer. In fact, according to federal law, nearly all bottles of perfume, deodorant, lotion, shampoo and skin care products are illegally labeled, because they contain cancer-causing ingredients, and yet they have no warnings on the labels whatsoever to alert consumers about those ingredients.

But now there's a new skincare product line from the Amazon Herb Company that is actually healthy. It actually contains only helpful ingredients. None of those harmful ingredients found in most other skin care and cosmetic products are found in this line. The line is called Lluvia, and it's the first line of personal care products that I have been willing to stand up and talk about as being healthy. These products contain potent rain forest botanicals, but more importantly, they have no artificial fragrance, no fillers and no sodium laureth sulfate. They are not made with things like transmission fluid and brake fluid, which are the chemicals found in most other cosmetic products. This is an exceptional product line.

My strategy is to create healthy skin from the inside, through outstanding nutrition. I do this by eating raw foods and drinking raw food juices. If you ever want to see a bunch of people with a really vibrant, healthy glow in their skin, just go to a raw food group. Those who have been eating raw foods the longest will probably have the best skin.

But most of the world isn't going to convert to raw foods, so most people need external nutrition for their skin, and in that case, I think this Lluvia product line is the very best I've found yet. If you're going to put something on your skin, let it be this.

Lluvia has all the products you might expect in a skin care line: Cleanser, moisturizer, a deep penetrating oil that gives healthy oils to your skin tissues and a nice spray to spritz your face. In addition to these products, they have a camu C serum, which is loaded with camu fruit. As you may know, camu is very high in antioxidants and contains an extremely high level of vitamin C. If you put this serum on your skin, there's no question about it: These nutrients will be absorbed into the skin and provide external nutritional.

Check it out at http://medicine.amazonherb.net
hack into myspace
samhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11888621615098436029noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8826736979813619845.post-34927483560253759192009-12-22T00:47:00.000-08:002009-12-22T00:47:05.485-08:00What is the best Lancome anti-aging skin cream you;ve used?I'm looking to buy some from Lancome. The things you buy in the store will simply not help. I read many books from dermatologists and doctors who say wrinkles are not caused by lack of creams..or dryness.

Why the mania over moisturizers? Why are so many women (and, increasingly, men) slathering on lotions and creams regardless of whether or not their skin needs them? Because most people believe the long-standing myth that dry skin causes wrinkles. Yet nothing could be further from the truth. The notion that dry skin is more prone to wrinkles is utterly false but with so many products claiming they can firm, tone, lift, sculpt, de-puff, and act like medically injected fillers for wrinkles or substitutes for Botox, it's no wonder so many consumers can't imagine facing the day without at least one moisturizer.

Why does the myth about dry skin causing wrinkles persist? Simply put, when you have dry skin wrinkles look more pronounced and when you put on a moisturizer, voila!, wrinkles look less noticeable. However, this improvement is not a function of the moisturizer changing your skin or necessarily giving your skin what it needs, but an extremely temporary effect taking place on the surface of skin. That is a nice function of moisturizers but depending on the specific product's formulation it doesn't help the underlying problems making skin look older than it is.

How do we know dry skin doesn't cause wrinkles? Essentially because extensive research has made it clear that sun damage, muscle movement, loss of estrogen, cellular aging, inflammatory response, collagen destruction, free-radical damage, gravity, and fat movement are the critical elements causing wrinkles. None of those things have anything to do with how dry your skin is or how much ';moisture'; you put on it.
Yes, try Avon's Anew products. They are great! You could also try their am/pm Solutions. I was pretty upset about it as I really didn't whink my skin would start degrading in my 30s. I tried altering my diet, took a lot of dark coloured vegetables such as beetroot and tomatoes as these were supposed to be good for wrinkles and also drank plenty of water. It didn't really work though and my Doctor had even suggested that I go for a Debrassion treatment to fade out my wrinkles. I then recently read an article by a lady who claimed that she got rid of her wrinkles using a particular anti-wrinkle product. I tried it and it worked really well. Within 4 weeks my wrinkles had faded out and were barely visible. Really good stuff. You can read more about the lady's article at the link below.

http://wrinklecure.wordpress.com/To Asian Women: What's the best anti-wrinkle/anti-aging cream for asian skin?
Hi

the best cream which i found so far is olay's 6 Matt effect cream.

because this cream is suitable for all skin type since i am allergic to scent so it has no scent. apart from that it removes the wrinkles and enhance the complexion and gives natural shine too.
Be gentle with your skin and it will go a long way in keeping it smooth and supple. Gently massage the marks with glycerin-honey mixture. Dip a cotton pad in unbeaten egg white, and smooth it across wrinkles. I recommend what I use; Preve extreme anti aging by Isabella Pelle. It's made specifically for fine lines/wrinkles. It has the highest concentration of ';peptides'; active ingredients to fight them. Also has the highest concentration of the best known moisturizer, hyaluronic acid. Google Isabella Pelle. Will it ruin my skin if i use anti aging cream in my 20's?
Part of the reason that aged skin wrinkles is that is loses its elasticity. If you moisturize now, you are keeping your skin moist (duh?) and along with it some of the elasticity.

Look for lotions that include collagen because that is the part of the skin that helps keep elasticity, and further down the line will help reduce the amount of lines on your face.

I used them when I was in my 20's, and now I am 46, and have comments all the time from people telling me they swore I was around 30. But as to whether or not it will be effective depends on what you are using. There are anti-aging products specifically designed for those who want to prevent wrinkles, then there are anti-aging products that are designed for those who want to get rid of the wrinkles they already have. They usually are pretty specific on which purpose they're designed for. Alpha-hydroxy, vitamins, antioxidants, and sunscreens are all good ingredients to look for if you're wanting to prevent wrinkles, and it was recently found that starting in your 20's significantly slows down the aging process, more so than if you start later on in life (this was actually in a featured article in an issue of Cosmopolitan a few years back, unfortunately I don't remember which issue it was in!). Remember though that these products will do very little if you don't take care of your skin from the inside as well - drink plenty of water, get good nutrition and take multi-vitamins if you need to, get plenty of sleep, and stay away from habits that are well known for accelerating the aging process such as smoking and tanning beds. Personally, the products I've found to work best for my skin (which is still a little acne prone) are Mary Kay's Timewise 3-in1 cleanser/moisturizer/foundation and Neutragena's Healthy Skin lotions (which I put on after the Mary Kay Timewise moisturizer). I also use a micro-dermabrasion kit once a week. No lines yet, and my skin stays clear of breakouts. :)
Your sister may just be jealous that no fine lines are showing up on your face. While it seems a little extreme to most women, experts recommend that people start an anti-aging skin care regimen by their mid-20s. This helps keep wrinkles from appearing, which is much more effective than trying to get rid of them later.
Most anti ageing creams don't actually work and are just moisturiser so will most likely not do you any harm at all.samhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11888621615098436029noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8826736979813619845.post-21596188257627513732009-12-22T00:45:00.003-08:002009-12-22T00:45:45.500-08:00Has anyone tried this anti aging cream - caracol cream?It won the 2007 anti aging cream award out of 200 other products.
