If you are living in California, would you need a prescription to buy antifungal cream?

I went to a small grocery/drugstore to buy some but I didn't find any..If you are living in California, would you need a prescription to buy antifungal cream?
You can buy Lamisil or Tinactin without a prescription at any pharmacy or Wal*mart. Make sure it's a fungal infection and not eczema. If you are living in California, would you need a prescription to buy antifungal cream?
go to longs walgreens or walmart
Only the prescription strength antifungal creams are regulated... that's redundant, I know. Sorry. Some strong antifungal creams are regulated. There are many on the market that are over the counter. Lamisil is one that I know is OTC.
No, you don't need a prescription. Try a Walgreen's or CVS they usually have lots of stuff.
And if the fungus is a toe nail fungus, Vicks Vaporub works better than Lamicil...cream or tablets.. Just remove all the dead toe nail, wash with chlorox and put Vaporub on it for practically a year, until the nail grows out....
It's over-the-counter, they might just keep it behind the pharmacy counter. Ask for help!
depends on what u want it for. but you can get athletes foot cream and its an antifungal and will help treat most of your more common fungi. like ringworm, athletes foot and jock itch.

I got one real cheap at the wal mart in central cali for my kids ringworm and it worked very well. good luck
Anything that treats athletes foot is an anti-fungal. Vicks Vapor Rub also works well depending on the location of the fungus (ie. there are places on ones body where you wouldn't want to put a mentholated cream!) Good luck!
White vinegar or 1 part Clorox and 6 parts water is better then any over the counter anti fungal cream
you went to the wrong store -antifungal creams are in most drug stores and do not need a prescription. ask the pharmacist.
