Will cortaid cure ringworm or do i have to use antifungal cream?

i believe to cure ringworm that you need to use an antifungal, because it is caused by a fungus. I would go to the doctor to get a prescription to clear it up quickly because it is communicable. Will cortaid cure ringworm or do i have to use antifungal cream?
i have no idea what the heck cortaid is but you can do it a natural way:

1) put a circle of vasiline (or petrolium jelly) about a cm away from the worm's circle.

2) put a square of plastic wrap on top of the circle of vasiline(sorry if i'm spelling it wrong) and make sure its sealed tight so that air cant get in. keep it on til worm dies and sore heals.

DO NOT TAKE PLASTIC WRAP OFF UNTIL WORM DIES OR IT WILL NOT WORK.

ps i heard this from someone else and i really dont know if it works- tell me how it goes.

it may take a week- i dunno. Will cortaid cure ringworm or do i have to use antifungal cream?
serious, my sister had ringworm and the doctor recommended ban roll on. you want the roll on, not the poweder stick because that way it gets into the nooks and crannies of the ring worm. and the purpose of anti-perspirant is to dry it up, so it dries the ringworm out. apply three times a day and be sure you don't use the roll on for anything but the ring worm
Get something that's made specifically for ringworm. A pharmacist can help you. Cortaid won't do it.
Ring worm can be cured without the side effects of Cortizon.

Homeopathy treats it without side effects and complications.

Take care and God Bless You !
cortaid will actually make it worse. An anti fungal cream might work, but a doctor is the best route.

  1. Ringworm is NOT a WORM! So vaseline and plastic wrap is not going kill it~! haha!! That is so funny! It is a fungal infection. You can use an anti fungal cream like what you use on athelete's foot! That should do the trick!
