Can I use my antifungal cream solely for getting rid of the stinky smell in my v?

I have two antifungal creams prescribed by my doctor.





One is called Monistat Derm and it says, ';for fast relief of external itching, burning and irritation associated with vaginal yeast infections. Use for external genital itching and irritation only if you have already had a vaginal yeast infection diagnosed by a doctor...';





The second one is called Canesten and it ';relieves external vaginal itching, burning associated with vaginal yeast infection and discomfort.';





Yes, I did have vaginal yeast infection before but it's only occasional when I feel some discomfort/itching. I haven't used it since the last time I knew I had the infection but now I'm not sure since I don't feel and cannot see the symptoms.





I just know my private area down there does not smell great so I was wondering if these two creams could be my solution to get rid of the awful scent when I don't feel irritation or discomfort at the moment.Can I use my antifungal cream solely for getting rid of the stinky smell in my v?
No. The reason it smells is becuase you might have another and completely unrelated condition, like bacterial vaginosis. You shouldn't treat one disease with the drugs that are for another disease. It won't help and it might make things worse.
